Jasmin Ostermayer (Switzerland)

Growing up in Switzerland, where hills and mountains abound, the consistency of Cambridge’s levelness continues to amaze me. I completed my graduate studies in Molecular Biology at both the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research and the University of Basel. After completing my master’s degree I worked in the infectious disease and pandemic lab of a medical diagnostics company. I joined the Anderson group to support the wet lab team in a project studying inflammatory bowel disease. Outside of science I am an avid football player. I also enjoy visiting art museums, sipping cocktails, reading and traveling.
