Noor Wana (Iraq)

I was born and raised in the Middle East, in Iraq specifically, where I stayed until I’ve obtained my undergraduate degree in Pathology. I’ve then moved to London to complete my postgraduate studies in Genomic Medicine from QMUL, after which, I joined Sanger first to work as part of the COVID-19 Surveillance project. I joined Anderson group to help the wetlab team in their Inflammatory Bowel Disease projects. Outside of the lab, I enjoy art museums and galleries, reading, going to music shows and sipping cocktails!
